PRECAUTIONS & GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS IN DISPENSING AREA
- Check and ensure the environmental condition of the area e. Temperature and Relative Humidity are within the acceptable limits i.e. (Temperature NMT 270C, RH NMT 50 %)
- Use personal protective aids while handling the material.
- Ensure that the line clearance shall be performed before starting each stage of operation.
- Ensure that the intermediate product containers to be used are clean.
- Ensure the equipment and area are labeled for a product, batch number, and status.
- Ensure the rinse/swab sample analysis is conducted and the compliance report is available, wherever applicable.
- Ensure that dispensing weighing balances are clean and calibrated.
- In case any non-compliance is observed, stop the operation and report to the concerned Dept. Head.
- Destroy the non-recoverable generated during the process as per SOP.
- A copy of the duly signed Raw material requisition is to be retained by the warehouse after dispensing.
- Verify the weights of dispensed raw material.
- Check stores tags on each dispensed raw material with respect to the product name, item name, batch number, and Mfg. Date, Exp.Date, A.R. No., and quantity against requisition of raw material.
- Initial the tag and batch procedure sheet with the date of verification.
- Enclose all raw material tags to batch manufacturing record.
- Check the cleanliness of equipment and utensils used in the dispensing process.
- Warehouse personnel to check the release status of raw material written in the raw material requisition.
- Dispense the raw material as per the standard operating procedure.
- Record the gross, tare, and net weight in the dispensed raw material tags.
- Dispense the material separately in a double-lined polythene bag and keep it in a container with proper labeling.
- Ensure that all activity shall be logged online in logbooks of particulars.
