Objective
- To provide a standard operating procedure for evaluating the health status of employees. As well as every year health check-ups will provide the health status of all employees.
Scope
- This SOP is applicable to all the employees in the pharma industry.
Responsibility
- HR Department shall be responsible to follow the procedure laid down in this SOP.
Accountability
- Head HR and QA are responsible for the compliance of this SOP.

Procedure
- Each individual shall undergo a Medical checkup after joining & re-medical every year.
- Medical checkups shall be performed by contract physicians.
- Employee’s consent for Health/Medical checkup shall be taken.
- Medical checkup involves the following minimum requirement:-
- Demographic profile
- Medical History
- Physical Examination
- Chest X-Ray
- Clinical Bio-chemistry
- Hematology
- Clinical Biochemistry and Hematology results shall be assessed by the physician.
- All original records shall be maintained by the HR department.
