Objective

  • To provide a standard operating procedure for evaluating the health status of employees. As well as every year health check-ups will provide the health status of all employees.

Scope

  • This SOP is applicable to all the employees in the pharma industry.

Responsibility

  • HR Department shall be responsible to follow the procedure laid down in this SOP.

Accountability

  • Head HR and QA are responsible for the compliance of this SOP.

  • QA: Quality Assurance

Procedure

  • Each individual shall undergo a Medical checkup after joining & re-medical every year.
  • Medical checkups shall be performed by contract physicians.
  • Employee’s consent for Health/Medical checkup shall be taken.
  • Medical checkup involves the following minimum requirement:-
  • Demographic profile
  • Medical History
  • Physical Examination
  • Chest X-Ray
  • Clinical Bio-chemistry
  • Hematology
  • Clinical Biochemistry and Hematology results shall be assessed by the physician.
  • All original records shall be maintained by the HR department.
